It's July 4th and what am I doing? I am sitting at home with 3 movies to watch. Sewa went to Toronto with her fam, Alan and Naomi went to Ohio, Kenny went out of town, and I bet the rest are out doing something fun. I was scheduled to work all day today but my manager closed down the restaurant early. Tim's really funny....such a lazy bum...haha. I am greatful for my job. Even though I stand all day, I am very lucky to have such great bosses Sang and Tim are the coolest managersI've had...except for Steve of course!! I wonder how's he doing? I miss him. I hope he will go through with culinary art school and become a big time chef. Sang gave me a birthday card yesterday. It was really nice. Inside, there was a gift certificate too!! I know everyone gets it but it is still nice. I worked there for 5 months already and I hardly see him get mad. A lot of times, he works around my schedule. He isn't an uptight boss at all. At times, I see him plant flowers and bus tables....that really humbles me. I am also very lucky to work with Michelle and Alex again. I missed talking to them. I always wanted to call them up but I am always so lazy. It's really weird how fast money goes. I worked all semester long yet I don't see the money at all. I am grateful though that my job paid for my tuition, tickets to SF, and new clothes...hehe. At first I was a little jealous of my other friends who makes twice the amount I do sitting down, but now that I think about it, I learned a lot. I learned how to have patience with people especially retarded customers and mean coworkers at times. It taught me not to take things too personally and helped me to have tougher skin. I also really love the people who works there. Every time they see me, they always welcome me. So yea.. things are going great and I am very blessed. I am also very glad Alan lives at home. Because of him I never feel lonely. He taught me how to watch the games. The other day, we watched the Emergency channel together (the real stuff), it was really cool. I can't believe that is what I will be doing someday. I can't wait.
