Yesterday was a good day. I didn't have work so I decided to stay home and just relax something I don't do too often. I am just one of those people that likes to keep things going and never stop. Whenever I do stop, I feel like a complete waste of time...as if I could be doing something important! Lately, I have been trying to give my lifestyle a little change. Maybe doing nothing is a good thing for me. I realized that people who are more calm tends to be happier. Hum, I wonder if that's true. What else did I do yesterday? I put on some Christian music, which I recently found around the house, and made a delicious dinner. I made penne rigate pasta with two kinds of chili peppers, garlic, wine sauce, tomato sauce, oregano, and shredded lean pork. I also made garlic bread. What made me happy was when Alan appreciated the dinner. In fact, he finished everything! For those who love cooking, when someone enjoys what you make, that is the most rewarding feeling in the world. All the toiling, the washing, the chopping, and the time spent under intense heat just disappears when someone gives you a nice, genuine appreciation for your work of art. So ok, after a nice dinner, it was time to watch THE GAME. Since I recently got into hockey, I was thrilled they made it into the Stanley Cup Finals. I followed them throughout the whole series and just fell completely in Love with them. I almost started crying when the players celebrated at the end. Oh...it was such a beautiful thing.
